My name is Elena Duka and I am a psychologist and psychotherapist. I completed my undergraduate studies in Psychology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and continued with postgraduate studies at Cardiff University, where I obtained an MSc in Health Psychology. In addition, I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Family Therapy from King's University of London.
During my first internship at the 424 Military Hospital of Thessaloniki, I was trained in the administration and interpretation of specialized psychodiagnostic tools, such as the projective tests Rorschach Inkblot Test and Thematic Apperception Test (TAT), as well as the personality questionnaire Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI).
For the last ten years I have lived and worked in London, where I continue my clinical and scientific activity in the field of mental health. In recent years I have specialized in the assessment and therapeutic treatment of severe mental disorders, with an emphasis on psychotic disorders and schizophrenia, as well as their comorbidity with anxiety disorders, such as panic attacks, and bipolar disorder.
